The last batch of 183 medical workers returned to Guangdong today (April 10th) by a chartered plane after aiding the fight against COVID-19 in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province.
As of now, all 1,903 medical workers from Guangdong who lent their support to fight against COVID-19 in Wuhan have left the city and come back to the province.
On Chinese New Year’s Eve (January 24th), which is a traditional day for family reunion in China, Guangdong’s first medical team consisting of 128 members left for Wuhan to provide support for the fight against the coronavirus.
As of April 9th, the Guangdong medical teams in Wuhan had treated 3,616 COVID-19 patients, 3,149 of whom had been confirmed healthy and discharged, with a cure rate of 87.09%.
